The terms on which you may use our website and our installer matching service.
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Green Tide Energy website and the matching service we provide. By using our website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Green Tide Energy is operated by BLC Promotions Ltd (company number 15178624), a company registered in England and Wales whose registered office is at High Trees, Westerham Road, Oxted, RH8 0EE.
Green Tide Energy is a lead generation and matching service. We connect homeowners who are interested in heat pumps with local, MCS-certified heat pump installers. We are not a heat pump installer. We do not carry out surveys, supply equipment, or perform installations, and we are not party to any contract you enter into with an installer.
To use our service you must be at least 18 years old, a UK resident, and the homeowner (or authorised to act on behalf of the homeowner) of the property your enquiry relates to. You agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse the website or submit enquiries on behalf of others without their permission.
When you submit an enquiry, you ask us to match you with a local installer and consent to us passing your details to them so they can contact you. We aim to match you with a suitable installer but we do not guarantee that a match will always be available in your area, or the timescale within which an installer will make contact. Submitting an enquiry places you under no obligation to proceed with a survey or installation.
References to the £9,000 grant relate to the UK government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme. The grant is administered by the relevant government body, not by Green Tide Energy, and is subject to eligibility criteria and available funding which may change. We do not determine eligibility or guarantee that you will receive any grant. Your MCS-certified installer is responsible for confirming eligibility and submitting any grant application on your behalf.
Installers in our network are independent businesses. Any survey, quotation, contract, advice, products or installation work is provided by the installer and is a matter between you and them. Green Tide Energy is not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing, workmanship or conduct of any installer, and any dispute relating to a survey or installation should be raised with the installer directly.
The website and our matching service are provided on an "as is" basis. While we take reasonable care, we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information on it (including illustrative savings figures) is complete or accurate for your circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Green Tide Energy and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of it without our prior written permission.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the website. Please check back periodically for any changes.
